My #1

I have such a wonderful husband! I thought it was about time I did a post just about HIM.

Bryce and I met up at Utah State where we were both going to school at the time. Bryce lived right below me in our apartment complex, but we didn't really notice each other til the year was over and I was moving out for the summer.

It all started with one glorious motorcycle ride. My roommate Lori kept bugging Bryce to take her for a ride on his motorcycle but he didn't have any passenger pegs, so once he got them he invited her (and her roommates) for a ride. I guess I owe my thanks to Lori!I almost didn't go because I wondered if it would be akward and we wouldn't have anything to talk about. But I went and there was never a dull moment.

From that time on we wanted to spend every free moment together. It was a rush. We dated for about a month before we knew we wanted to get married.

We had super short 2 month engagement and were Married August 19, 2006. Almost 3 years ago! How crazy.

We went on a cruise to the Bahama's on our honeymoon and it was AMAZING. I wouldn't change it for the world. We had so much fun just being together and visiting the ports we stopped at.

Sometimes it's fun to go back and remember those days. I loved our story and it's fun to think about at the years pass by.

*Bryce is perfect for me. I believe Heavenly Father had a hand in getting us together. And I'm so glad we married each other.

*Bryce is so patient. (A quality that anyone who knows me well, knows that I lack.) I always say he is the easy going one in the family. (It sure isn't Jason either. He blows hot and cold just like his mama.)

*I can honestly say that Bryce has never yelled at me. I don't think it's in his nature. Maybe he'll yell when I'm old and I can't hear.

*He works very hard to support our family. He lets me stay home and raise my baby. That really means a lot to me!

*He really pushed me to get my degree. Something I am so glad to have, and I don't know if I would have if it wasn't for his encouragement.

*He encourages me to get new hobbies. Especially when they are the same as his hobbies!

(This is our first Halloween. I needed a costume for the school I was student teaching at, and Bryce let me wear his hockey uniform.)

He really is just the most wonderful man in my life. He makes me laugh and is such a good Daddy for our son! They are so very cute together. Jason just loves his Daddy!
