We started out the day with pancakes. Jason loves pancakes!
Then we had a pretty normal sunday. Jas had a nap, got ready for church... Daddy got to come to church with us today. That was a treat for me!!
Then we had a pretty normal sunday. Jas had a nap, got ready for church... Daddy got to come to church with us today. That was a treat for me!!Then after church the party began!! We invited Jason's friends and family over for a little bbq/birthday party!
This is hard to see because the pictures are so little, but we had SO many people over. It was so fun! And I am very thankful to have a backyard!

A few closer pictures of Jason's visitors.
(We had a bigger one for everyone else.)
This clip is a little long and there's a lot of talking in the backgroud. But it's fun to see Jas dig into his cake!
Jason loved to play with it, but he did not like to eat it. Anytime he put any of it in his mouth, he would spit it right back out again. For a child who likes EVERYTHING (even rocks occationally) it's crazy that he doesn't like cake! I guess he wants to be just like his daddy. (Bryce does not like cake either.)
After cake, Daddy had to go to work, so I took LOTS of pictures of him opening presents so Daddy could see. He loved all of his presents. He was much more interested in the actual presents than the wrapping paper! (Christmas all he wanted to do was eat the paper.)

(Christmas all he wanted to do was eat the paper.)He got a mini foot ball, basket ball, and soccer ball, a huge beach ball, and a tiny baseball, a book, some fruit snacks, a swimming pool, some toy cars, a new outfit, some wooden toys... HE WAS SPOILED! Thanks to everyone who brought him a gift! That was very kind of you! You spoil my boy.
Opening Presents

This video is for Grandma Suzanne. She brought Jason's present to FishLake but he was too tired to open it before we left. So I took a video of him opening it for you so that you could see him do it. Thanks so much for the gift!
We went out to say goodbye as the last of the party were leaving, and Jason decided to run through the sprinklers. He LOVED it! He's always loved the water. And he did this all on his own without any coaxing from any of us. I let him play, cuz it's his birthday. Why not?
After a bath (which was much needed because of all of the frosting in his hair) I put the little man to bed. He fell asleep with his foot sticking out of his crib... So funny

That little foot sticking out is SOOO cute! I love how you have the other picture stuck on top to get the whole picture. Love it. Happy Birthday Jason!!!
He is so cute! And man! He was spoiled! Ha ha, he deserves it though! :) I can't believe you've been a mom for a whole year! That's so crazy! Give him a birthday hug for me!
That little guy sure knows how to throw a party!
Cute video. I love the cake mess thing! The foot out the crib is too cute. I had one that would do that and then bend her leg and put her foot back in through a different opening and then be stuck! Crazy kids! They're great, huh?
happy birthday, jason! it is nuts how time flies. looks like he had an awesome day. loved the videos and the little foot stickin outta the crib. =)
