Back to Blogging....

Okay so really we've been doing a lot of fun things around here, I've just been really lazy about blogging about all those fun things. So here are a ton of pictures.

Zoo again. This time with my cute sisters, Lisa and Lara.
Lendon, Me, Kayson, Lisa, Jason, Lara

Lisa is so cute with the kiddos! She is definitely the favorite aunt. Lara told me that when Lisa came to visit the other day, Kayson's words were, "Yay, Lots and lots of PLAY!!" So cute coming from a 2 year old! And so true, she loves to play with her nieces and nephews!

Yesterday it looked like it was going to be a warm sunny day, so I filled up Jason's pool for the first time this year. Well actually I turned on the water and he filled it up. :)

Sadly there is a bit of a leak where our hose hooks up...

We decided spur of the moment to go fishing. So we didn't get home until 6:30 or so. By then our backyard was in the shade and it was a little chilly. He was playing in the water a bit, then he took off his pants (very common at my house for Jason) and jumped in. So I pulled out his swim suit and he spent quite a lot of time out there. Brrrrr!

This is his cold & wet walk... He walks with straight legs and it's pretty funny.

We had a sister-sleepover last week. Bryce was nice enough to watch Jason AGAIN so I could go. What a wonderful Husband I have! But he did have to go to work in the morning so Jason got to come play with us. The only picture I got of the whole thing is of Jason and Renae in this funny little bed at IKEA.

Bryce bought a little fishing boat a few weeks ago. Here are some pics of our first time in it as a family!

I look like I just woke up, but surprisingly this is in the afternoon... not early morning.

Bud liked the front seat.

Yesterday I made Bryce go shopping with me for new pants. While we were there we found a new hat and a cute little baseball glove for Jason. He loves them both! He wouldn't take the hat off all day, and he even wanted to wear it to bed. (And I found some little flip flops for him at Target for only $2.50!)

Isn't' he stylin'?

See how much he loves his new mitt?

Sometimes he would just throw the ball straight out of the mitt.

And here are a few fishing pictures from yesterday. We had so much fun! Jas was awesome. He helped us fish and played catch to pass the time.

When he fished by himself he like to put the end of the pole right in the water... It made for a snag or two.

He LOVED to reel it in. I guess he needs a spinner instead of power bate.

After a few minutes of Jason reeling in my line and snagging moss and twigs I decided playing ball would be more fun. Bryce was more patient, however. He's such a great dad!

We even both caught a fish! This is the first fish I've caught (in Utah) for a long, long time! Jason would not touch the fish, he thought they were slimy and disgusting. Bryce finally got him to hold it by using a stick. Hehe.
O boy! What handsome boys!
And when we got home we cooked the fish a new way. Bryce filleted them and cooked them in some seasonings and I actually liked it! I'm trying to like fish and this time I didn't have to gag it down. I enjoyed every bite. And so did Bryce. And so did Jason. Guess we needed to catch one more fish!

(O my goodness, this is a LOOOOONG post. And it took a loooong time to do. I think I'm ready for a nap!)

Love it all, especially that you need a nap at the end. Phew, it's tiring! ;)

What a cute kid! I love the one of him holding the fishing pole - he looks so tiny! And I'm glad you liked the fish this time. ;)

That is so cute. I love the pictures of him in his cute little hat fishing and tossing the ball. Cutest kid and pretty cute parents as well. Even if you look like you just woke up!

You are right, Sharece. That was a LOOOOONG post. I breifly read it. I liked the "I just love kids" & "Playing catch with Daddy" videos. It was fun at the SIS SLEEPOVER! Remember that fun, funny game of CURSES!
