Today was mostly spent preparing for and having pack meeting. I am a cub master, for those of you who didn't know. But that isn't what I took pictures of.
First of all I woke up to my sweet husband calling to say good morning. He was shocked to hear that I was still asleep until he called. "Isn't it 8:00 there?" he asked. Why yes it was. It is so nice to sleep in once in a while!
Jason wanted to play games right away this morning. So we got out his new "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" Game.
While we played that, Tyler found himself some breakfast from off the floor...
YUCK!
So I decided we better get real breakfast for my boys.
Jason picked Raisin Bran. He loves it!
And Tyler got Kix and Yogurt.
I put some finishing touches together for pack meeting... :-/
While I created a beautiful masterpiece for a puzzle for pack meeting, (Which one of my wonderful scouts called ugly. Not once, but at least three times!) Jason colored this fish for Grandma.
"Not for Sharece," Jason told me. "For Oma."
"Not for who?" I replied.
"Not for Mama," Jason said.
If you look down by his hand you can see the cheese stick I gave him. I asked him if he wanted a cheese stick and he said yes, so I set it by him. A second later as he's coloring he informs me, "I too busy." Then after he was all done coloring he says, "K, I show Oma. I eat my cheese now."
O I love him!
Here he hung his fish for grandma on the wall. He is waiting for her to come visit us.
We finally had lunch around 2 or so. My boys were HUNGRY!
After pack meeting I decided to go running. I've got to stay in shape even if my husband is gone... :)

Jason ran about a fourth of the way. He has so much energy it amazes me! We had to cross the street here where these pictures are taken, and Jason got so excited about the flowers. He had to run over and smell them. :) I love that he enjoys the simple things in life and stops to smell the flowers. (Even if sunflowers aren't quite roses.)
I didn't want to leave Tyler out, so I bent down to take a picture of him. No kidding he looked at me and said, "Cheese." And gave me a little smile!! I was shocked. I said, "Did you just say 'cheese'?" Then he said cheese again. And again, and again. He is just an amazing little boy! It sure did make my chin drop to hear my little one-year-old say cheese for the camera!
Both boys fell asleep on the way home, so as soon as I got home I transferred them to bed. I love my little boys. I am so glad to be a mother and have these moments with my kiddos!

Sounds like a great day! Where's Bryce? Are you still in Heber? Maybe we can get together next week for a picnic at the park?
Sounds like a perfect day!
