Was spent driving...
and driving! Tyler and I drove a loong way on Friday.
Luckily it was to see FAMILY!!! Here is Renae helping cook pancakes for us for dinner on Friday.
I ended up leaving one of my kids with my mom and dad (Thank you again for watching my cute boy!) I asked Jason if he wanted to come with me or stay at Grandma's house without me. He didn't even bat and eye when he chose Grandma's house. And he never looked back. He was so excited to get to go stay with Grandma and Grandpa. It was really fun for him, but I sure did miss my boy!
SATURDAY-
SATURDAY-
"... is a special day"
Well, it was a FUN day! I got to visit my favorite cousin in the whole wide world!!! It was so fun to see you Rach and your two beautiful daughters!
We all got ready for the day (after a crazy night with Renae and Tyler not going to bed until 12:30 because they got a late nap on the way from Shonda's house to Rachel's... Fun, fun.) Then we went out to the swings by Rachel's house, we went to the Splash Park, which was so FUN!
Here is Rachel, Renae, and Shonda at the splash park getting our picnic set out.
Tyler just slept and slept,
while the older kids played in the water.
O man, they are so stinkin' cute!
Natalie finally woke up and decided to join the fun.
Even us mom's got in and played a bit.
Then finally Tyler woke up and was so excited about the water. He pretty much just walked around the outside of it. He got too close once and the cold water splashed him, and he didn't like that very much. But he loved to look at it.
Cute Naomi just ate and enjoyed relaxing in our arms. She's soo sweet!
I almost stepped on this GIGANTIC caterpillar. It was huge, I've never seen one like it before.
After that we went on a walk to feed the ducks and see the fish pond. I didn't get any pictures, cuz I forgot to bring my camera along, but Tyler LOVED the ducks, and was throwing bread to them. At first he was throwing it on the sidewalk right next to him and I thought the ducks were going to trample him!
That night we had some delicious Tacos and then gave the kids a bath and put them to bed. It was such a fun day, (Thank you Rach!)
SUNDAY-
We went to stake conference: 3 moms and 5 kids (no husbands). And it went really well! We had the privilege of hearing Elder Todd D. Christopherson! It was so fun to hear him speak in a small, more personal setting. It was also interesting to me that the things he focused on the most were family scripture study and family home evenings. Those things must be important! He talked about how they don't always go perfect, but the important thing is being consistent.
After church Shonda and I drove back to her house. When we walked in we smelled dinner cooking in the crock pot! I was very impressed that Craig got that going for us before he went to church. It was very fun to come home to!
That night we walked up to my Uncle Leonard and Aunt Kathy's house. I just love those two so very much! It was so fun to sit and visit with them. :)
and TODAY-
This morning we spent relaxing at home with Shonda Bo and her family. Tyler and Renae had fun playing together in Tyler's porta crib. Here are a couple of cute cheeses I got from them:
They both were totally posing for the camera!
Tyler was a bit on the sad side today. He didn't sleep well last night and he didn't take a very long nap so he spent a lot of time wanting to be held. Poor little man. I think he will be glad to sleep in his own bed tonight!
After relaxing in the morning we got some FROZEN CUSTARD, which I love! And then Tyler and I were on our way home to pick up stinker britches from Grandma's house.
Thank you Shonda for such a fun weekend! I sure do love you and your family. It was so good to stay at your home with you. :)

Luckily, it is my sister Kenna's birthday today so we got to meet them up the canyon and celebrate a little bit with her. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER!!! Sure do love you.)
I was so excited to see my Jason again. I sure did miss him a lot. It's crazy how much I take for granted the great relationship that he has with his brother! Jason really cares a lot about Tyler and really takes care of him. I missed my companion on the long drive to Shonda's house and while we were there I kept thinking of how he would love all of the things we were doing. I am so thankful to have BOTH of my wonderful boys! And I'm excited for what tomorrow will bring!
