Robin's Nest

This morning Bryce came in and told us all to come outside.  We came out and this is what we found by our front door. 

As we were out there I noticed a robin fly up and perch in the tree with more stuff in his mouth!!  So we went inside and peaked out the window.  Sure enough he flew over and put it in his nest and then flew over to the big tree in our front yard and had a rondevue with his mate.  Here are the two love birds discussing if they really want a nest where two little boys are so close by.

By the time we got home from a blustery ride at the lake, the nest had been blown off the house.  Guess they'll have to put it in a tree next time... In spite of the bad location, it would have been fun to see all the progress: Nest, eggs, babies.... Hopefully they found a better spot to build their future home.
