On Sunday my baby turned 1.
I know, I know. Everybody says this, but... I can't believe he's already 1! I thought time flew with my first, but for some reason it has sped up with the second go around. My little Tyler is such a wonderful little boy! He started sleeping through the night at 2 months and has done wonderful ever since. He is so easy-going. He is a really great eater. Food is definitely the way to his heart already. :) He loves his toys, he loves his brother, and lately he loves making messes with the toilet paper! Watch out, the terrible two's are looming just around the corner! (Probably much to his father's delight.)
Anyway, for those of you who weren't at Tyler's little shin-dig, I thought I would post some pictures of the event.
We just had family over this year, and the night before I counted a total of 45 people who were going to come! So luckily my sister-in-law offered to let us have it at her house. THANKS JENNY! And it went really well!
I (and Tyler) loved seeing everyone! We just had a simple dinner (THANKS to everyone who offered to bring something! It was all delicious.) And then did cake and ice cream.
This video is 3 minutes long of Tyler eating cake, so feel free to watch as little or as much as you'd like. :) I think he's pretty darn cute.
Tyler loved his birthday cake! He dug right in and ate and ate.
Brian blew up this big inflatable slide. It was the hit of the party!

One year olds are funny. They don't really care about opening presents, but we all know how fun it is, so we sit there and make them do it. :)
Tyler was happily driving this pink jeep around. (Okay so he was sitting in one spot, but it was pretty stinking cute.)
When I decided it was time to open presents.
Well, he wanted nothing to do with that, so I thought maybe if I let him sit in the jeep and open them he would be happier.
We did that for a bit, but he was getting to distracted with the jeep that he wouldn't even look at the presents, soo...
I made him get out again. This is what he thought of that!
Funny the things we make our kids do. But after opening a couple of presents, things started looking up again.
We couldn't fool Tyler though. As soon as all the presents were open, there he was, crawling back to the jeep.

Thanks everyone for coming! We had a lot of fun and I'm glad we could share it with you!
Happy Birthday Tyler!
