A Tragic End

I have been so excited to see spring flowers growing in my little garden outside! I've been watching this daffodil since it was only green leaves.
Here you can see the little bud...
A little bigger....
And just as some yellow started to peak through...
Jason got a hold of it.
Sad.

These were the first flowers to bloom in my yard. They just kind of popped up out of nowhere. I was so excited to see flowers, that I had to take pictures!! They're very pretty and just look, the two flowers grew right through a dead leaf below. It looked really weird.

First Flowers
And then Jason got a hold of them.
Sad again.

I tried to save the flowers by putting them in water. Jas found the cup and dumped them out into the sink. And then tried to drink their water. :(

This is the latest flower I've found blooming outside. :) Luckily Jas hasn't gotten to this one yet. He loves to look at it and kept coming back to stare and point at it. I'm trying to help him learn that we, "Look with our eyes, and keep out hands away!"
We'll see how long this pretty flower lasts. :)

Jas is so curious and cute. Maybe he'll continue to love flowers and always give them to his wife! In the meantime, tell him to keep his cute little hands OFF the flowers and look with his eyes!!

So funny. Kids do love to pick flowers. They just can't help themselves. More importantly - you have flowers already!? We still have a foot of ice on our back patio!

SNOW, our snow is finally melting. However we did get a little more last night. Soon we will see spring, I can feel it. Loved your photos

Oh sad! But he's still cute, even if he does murder all of your flowers. :)
