Bryce is amazing at starting fires. He never uses newspaper or gas, and it's rare when he has to use more than one match. (I on the other hand would load up the newspaper and use at least 5 matches before I got any sort of fire! Needless to say I don't get to help start the fire much anymore.) And Bryce's fires don't go out until you make 'em. It's amazing! So even if he never has a pocket knife, he is some sort of boy scout.
Here we are at Meuler Park. It's the second time we've gone here this summer. I found it on a map that came with one of our many phonebooks. (I'm from Cache Valley where there are so many places to hike and picnic that I was so excited to finally find a place to picnic here in Bountiful!)
Rose and Marshal came with their little guy, Jameson. He is just 2 1/2 weeks younger than Jason, and so cute.

Brent after getting consumer reports reviews on fire starting devices, would purchase the lastest and greatest, read owners manual cover to cover and then start his fire.
Brian would supervise all other fire starting attempts. Then critique and instruct everyone as to how to properly start a fire!
Brad AKA Fruitland fire volunteer would call in a fire bomber and extinguish everyone's efforts.
BJ would instruct "wife" to make fire. Kendra would use gasoline to start fire drawing a finacial rebuke from BJ and an immediate reduction in her allowance.
Bryce would be so concerned with everyone else he would start there fires first.
